Challenges

  • Wearing every hat: provider, manager, marketer, and administrator.

  • No leadership experience to guide team growth.

  • Overwhelm from reactive, perfectionistic decision-making.

  • Lack of space to expand or hire support staff.

Solutions

To move from chaos to clarity, Shannon knew she needed more than just quick fixes. The POP Leadership Academy gave her the structure, support, and confidence to shift from overwhelmed solo provider to intentional CEO.”

01

Preparing for Expansion

Her one-room suite couldn’t support growth. Coaching guided her through securing a larger location and preparing to hire her first team members, including an assistant and esthetician.

02

Adopting a “Slow and Steady” Mindset

Instead of chasing unsustainable growth, Shannon reframed her approach. She prioritized steady progress, building a solid foundation that supports her practice and her life long term.

03

Finding Strength in Community

Through the Academy, Shannon gained access to resources and a network of women experiencing the same challenges. The support helped her feel less isolated and gave her tools to lead with confidence.

What happens when the chaos of solo practice becomes unsustainable?

When Shannon opened Prejuvenation Aesthetics, she imagined a boutique practice where patients felt cared for and connected. But as demand grew, so did the pressure.

“I had no business background whatsoever... I was okay with the medical side, but I was not okay with how quickly the practice was growing. I was becoming very overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do, and I didn’t have the right resources.”

The chaos left her constantly on edge. “I look back almost a year ago... the absolute overwhelm that I felt and just the constant feeling chaotic... it’s not sustainable at all.”

Joining the POP Leadership Academy she found a new mindset. “Approaching the growth of the practice from a slow and steady mindset rather than just go, go, go... it really helps you to take a step back and build a strong foundation.”

What happens when the chaos of solo practice becomes unsustainable?

Through coaching and community, Shannon transformed from a reactive provider into an intentional leader. With systems in place and balance restored, she is leading her practice with clarity and confidence.

“I feel like a completely different person. The chaos and overwhelm are gone, and I finally have control over my business and balance in my life.”
