Challenges
"Gerbil wheel" growth. Meg described feeling like she was "working, working, working" and seeing more and more patients while realizing it wasn't actually growing the business.
No time to build the business. If she was in the treatment room all day, she couldn't build a team, train a team, or create the systems necessary to scale.
Feeling like an injector instead of a CEO. Despite owning the practice and having her name on the wall, Meg admits she didn't truly feel like the CEO of her business.
Solutions
Through the POP Leadership Academy, KLC partnered with Meg to build the leadership infrastructure, onboarding systems, operational frameworks, and accountability structures required to support sustainable growth. We established clearer team expectations, implemented stronger training and development processes, and helped Meg create a business designed to grow beyond the owner.
01
Scalable Growth Through Leadership and Systems
Transitioning from founder-dependent operations to CEO-led growth unlocked scale: average monthly revenue increased from approximately $300,000 to $447,355, while the practice grew to more than $5.3M annually and achieved 31% year-over-year growth in 2026.
02
Building a Business Beyond the Owner
Meg expanded from one location to two and grew her team from 6 to 10 members. Stronger onboarding, training, and accountability systems created the infrastructure needed to support continued growth.
03
From Injector to CEO
Stepping fully into the CEO role gave Meg the confidence, structure, and visibility needed to lead strategically. What once felt like a practice dependent on her production evolved into a business supported by systems, people, and leadership.
what happens when an owner realizes she's built herself a job instead of a business?
Meg Fox had spent nearly two decades building a reputation as a trusted aesthetic provider. Patients loved her results, her energy, and the experience she created inside Meg Fox Aesthetics. The business was growing, demand was strong, and her schedule stayed full.
But behind the scenes, Meg found herself trapped in a cycle that many successful practice owners know all too well. "I felt like a gerbil in a wheel," Meg recalls. "I would just keep working, working, working and seeing more and more patients and realizing that it wasn't going to grow my business."
The harder she worked, the more dependent the business became on her personally. Every hour spent in the treatment room was an hour she couldn't spend building a team, developing leaders, or creating the infrastructure required to support long-term growth. When Meg attended The ALT Experience, something shifted. She heard other owners talking about challenges that sounded remarkably familiar. More importantly, she realized the next phase of growth would require a different version of herself.
"Prior to ALT, I felt I was just an injector. I knew I owned the business and even my name was on the wall. But I didn't really feel a sense of ownership.” For the first time, Meg recognized that building a successful practice and leading a scalable business were two very different things.
After joining the POP Leadership Academy, she began focusing on the work she had never formally been taught: leadership, team development, onboarding, accountability, operational systems, and financial visibility. Instead of simply working harder, she started building the framework required to support sustainable growth. "I felt like I left ALT as a CEO." With the right structure, support, and leadership framework, Meg transformed from the person carrying the business into the leader building it.

With stronger systems, clearer accountability, and a growing leadership team, she has built a business capable of supporting continued growth while creating a better experience for both patients and employees.
