Challenges
Rapid, unplanned growth without systems
Culture drift and team division
No SOPs or KPIs, unclear expectations
Desire to scale without burning out
Solutions
Jessica defined Beauty Culture’s core values—integrity, growth mindset, and impact—and aligned her team around them. This clarity created a filter for decision-making and a foundation for culture rebuild.
01
Installing Systems & Accountability
With KLC’s guidance, Beauty Culture built a full library of SOPs and implemented KPI tracking. These systems created consistent expectations, measurable benchmarks, and accountability across the practice.
02
Building a Leadership Structure
A formal leadership team was established, including a practice director role. This structure distributed responsibility, improved communication, and ensured sustainable day-to-day operations without relying solely on Jessica.
03
Designing Scalable Growth Models
Beauty Culture launched a membership program to attract and retain long-term “journey patients,” reducing reliance on discounts and short-term sales. Marketing and service models were aligned to emphasize education and patient relationships.
What happens when rapid growth outpaces culture?
When Jessica Christy opened Beauty Culture Med Spa in 2019, she envisioned a small, patient-focused practice that gave her more time with her family.
Instead, her reputation and demand drove exponential growth. Within just a few years, she had expanded to a team of 12, but the speed of that success created strain on her systems and culture.
The practice was thriving on the outside, yet behind the scenes Jessica felt the weight of leadership gaps and culture drift. Without SOPs, KPIs, or clear expectations, communication began to break down. The team lacked alignment, and morale slipped. Jessica knew that if she wanted to scale sustainably, she needed to protect her vision and put structure in place.
Through her work in Confidence to Scale and the POP Leadership Academy, Jessica began to rebuild her business from the inside out. She defined Beauty Culture’s core values—integrity, growth mindset, and impact —and set boundaries to protect them. She implemented SOPs, created KPI dashboards, and built an accountability framework that clarified what success looked like for every role.
At the same time, Beauty Culture shifted its business model: launching a membership program to attract long-term “journey patients,” moving away from discount-driven sales, and aligning marketing with education and patient retention.
The results were transformative. With systems and leadership in place, Beauty Culture wasn’t just surviving growth, it was positioned to sustain it.
